Fall 2026 newsletter
Sept 2026
Hi Beauty,
It’s been a few months since my last little note, so if we haven’t connected in a while, hello again. I’m Annmarie — the hands behind The Lifted Face, and when I’m not in the treatment room, you can usually find me in the soil at our little farm in Newtown, CT.
I only pop into your inbox with the changing seasons, sharing a little of what’s happening in the studio, what’s growing (or being gathered) on the farm, and what I’m learning along the way.
And somehow, here we are already… fall.
The mornings are cooler, the light is changing, and out on the farm we’re beginning that beautiful shift from growing to gathering.
The Fall Equinox arrives when day and night are nearly equal — a little moment of balance before we begin our slow turn toward the darker, quieter months of the year.
I love this time of year because it feels like an invitation to do the same in our own bodies: slow down, soften, gather in, and let go of what we no longer need.
And our faces often tell us when it's time to do exactly that.

As the Season Changes, So Does Your Face
One of the things I notice in the treatment room this time of year is how much tension we can unknowingly hold in our faces.
Jaw clenched.
Brow furrowed.
Shoulders creeping toward our ears.
Sometimes we don't even realize we're doing it until someone puts their hands on our face and gives those muscles permission to let go.
That's one of my favorite things about Sculptural Face Lifting and buccal massage. Yes, we're working with circulation, lymphatic flow and the muscles of the face — but there is also something deeply relaxing about having your face held and worked with intentionally.
I've had more than a few clients get up from the table and say:
“I didn't realize how much tension I was holding there.”
Fall feels like a beautiful season to release some of it.

Come Find Me at Georgetown After Dark
I'll be back in Georgetown this fall for Georgetown After Dark!
If you came to see me at Georgetown Day this summer, you know how much fun we had. This time we'll be gathering under the fall evening sky for a cozy night in our little Georgetown community.
I'll be there with The Lifted Face, offering a taste of the work I do in the studio — along with Annmarie Skin Care my botanical skin care line, and plenty of time to stop by and say hello.
October 15th | Georgetown, CT | 5pm-8pm
Come find me. HERE I'd love to see your face.

From the Land — The Divine Woman Returns
This one feels particularly special.
Back in the spring, I shared that I was growing and gathering plants here on our farm that would eventually find their way into something I was creating.
Well... this is what they became.
The 2026 Divine Woman Elixir — a moisturizing facial oil has officially been released.
This year's limited harvest contains plants grown and gathered on my farm, including comfrey, calendula and wild rose, slowly infused into this beautiful botanical oil.
There is something incredibly meaningful to me about knowing these plants from the beginning — tending them in the soil, harvesting them by hand, watching them dry, and eventually seeing them become part of a bottle that will find its way into someone else's daily ritual.
It's the whole cycle.
Grow. Gather. Give.
And because nature doesn't mass produce, neither can we. The Estate Blend is made only once a year, in a very limited batch, based on what the land gives us.
There are still some bottles from the 2026 harvest available. It will be the star of the evening at my booth during Georgetown After Dark.
Or if you can’t wait you can purchase a bottle here:

P.S. Something new is coming to The Lifted Face…
You asked, and I listened. So many of you have asked if I would ever offer more traditional facials alongside my sculptural work — and I’m excited to share that the hiring process has officially begun!
I’m looking for just the right esthetician to join me at The Lifted Face and bring beautiful, intentional facials to the studio.
More to come…
